Welcome to Tuft & Loop!
I’m Luke Souter and I have 26 years expertise in the flooring service industry. I learned my trade working from a young age for high street retailers, slowly acquiring the product knowledge and fitting experience that can only be gained through years of practice on a diverse range of flooring projects. For many years now I have been self-employed, working independently on my own clients’ projects and alongside the director of one of the best independent flooring companies in the South East, with an eclectic mix of clients and flooring projects from Brighton to London.
I have always had a vision to create a company which focused, not only on product and installation, but one that provided the client with exceptional service, from consultation through to delivering the client’s vision for their beautiful home.
So, I am very proud to introduce you to Tuft & Loop, that I set up with my wife Charlotte. We want you to have the client experience you deserve:

Quality flooring products – We purchase direct from a solid network of wholesalers and suppliers, which enables us to provide an extensive range of products, including almost all well- known brands, selected by us, for the finest quality within budget. This also means if you find something you like elsewhere, we can almost guarantee that we can source it for you. We also work with the best local craftsmen, from a local independent joinery who make all our bespoke thresholds to the longest established carpet finishing company in Kent.

Attention to detail - No matter what the scope of the job, I am obsessed with finish and detail, and this means you will always get the result that my high standards require!

Best practice recommendations – I will explain the optimum flooring preparation and installation processes so that you fully understand the options, giving you the benefit of advice and knowledge of the person who will be ultimately responsible for the installation, rather than a flooring showroom salesperson.

Transparency – We are all about building trust with our clients from the get-go, through honesty and integrity. We will clearly outline what you are committing to, and we guarantee no unexplained hidden extras or freebies covered by inflated prices elsewhere in the quoting process. All of the install photos on our website are my own images of installation projects I have undertaken.
